Whether from the reel, as die-cut lids or specific to defined Tyvek®-based applications, special papers or with a special barrier structure – SÜDPACK solutions seal trays hermetically and maintain the sterile barrier. They can be individually printed and delivered at short notice.
An outstanding microbial barrier, puncture and abrasion resistance and high mechanical strength – thanks to its strong, fine-element and uniform high-density polyethylene (HDPE) filaments, Tyvek® provides exceptional protection in all senses of the word, for the product and also for the patient. This recyclable material has proven its worth for decades now, and is suitable for all conventional types of sterilization. It also permits packaging developments which comply with today’s requirements in terms of sustainability.
For many applications, our medical papers represent an interesting alternative to the more rigid Tyvek® products. Thanks to our intelligent warehouse management, SÜDPACK is able to offer a wide range of these differently coated and uncoated materials – featuring a reliable sterile barrier for applications for medium mechanical requirements, with high gas permeability or also with reliable sealing performance against our PP and PA/PE-based thermoforming films.
SÜDPACK Medica offers special barrier composites for products requiring protection against environmental influences such as UV light, gases and humidity. The high barriers guarantee optimum protection, even in case of long storage periods or in demanding climatic conditions during transport. In addition, these composites convince with their performance on all common processing lines due to their high puncture resistance and good sealing characteristics.
